We're the Debating Society at Birla Institute of Science and Technology, Pilani.The Society aims to foster public speaking and the discourse generated from it. We strongly support discussions and engagement between different viewpoints.The Debating Society handles Conventional, Parliamentary as well as other forms of debate activities within the college. All representation at such events is done through the Society. It facilitates and trains its members to participate in various State, National and International level competitions. We are one of the most active debating societies amongst Indian colleges. The Society has inherited a rich legacy of quality debating across the years of its existence.We also host and conduct our annual debating tournament BITS Pilani Parliamentary Debate, which attracts participants from all over India.
