We are the U.S. Operations for TippyTalk EDU and Skoogmusic, promoting social inclusion for those that are often left out of activities as common as texting and participating in music class.TippyTalk was founded by Rob Laffan in Ireland in 2015. Rob is a loving father of a little girl named Sadie, who was diagnosed with Autism when she was 3 years old. Sadie is also non-speaking. Rob created TippyTalk - an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) tool that allows the non-speaking community to connect with anyone, anywhere, anytime . Seeing the impact TippyTalk had in his personal life, Rob decided to share his solution with the Non-Speaking community.Skoogmusic was founded by Dr. Ben Schögler and Dr. David Skulina in 2009. Skoogmusic is a Scottish company that focused its efforts to address the fact that there were no musical instruments designed for children with physical or learning disabilities. This led to their first invention - the Skoog, a groundbreaking, tactile musical cube that anyone can play. Skoog's multi-dimensional, tactile technology opens up music to everyone. Inclusive and accessible, budding musicians can create and control musical sounds with just the Skoog and an iPad, whatever their level of training, skill, or dexterity - at home, in the classroom, or in the studio. Both TippyTalk and Skoomusic are expanding their presence in the United Sates and Accessible-Tech is thrilled to connect families, educators, and specialists with technology that enriches the lives of those with disabilities.
