The Oregon Zoo Foundation is a private nonprofit organization that encourages charitable giving in order to advance the zoo's mission of inspiring the community to create a better future for wildlife.OZF provides approximately $3 million per year to enhance the zoo's work on behalf of wildlife at home and around the world, thanks to generous support from:Individual donations: From Conservation Circle to the Wildlife Legacy Society to Zoo Parents, OZF relies on gifts from individuals help the zoo fulfill its mission of creating a better future for wildlife.Corporate partnerships: Through zoo exhibits, programs and events, OZF offers businesses premium exposure and zoo access, along with an opportunity to give back to the community.Grants: OZF pursues funding from foundations that are committed to providing grants that support the zoo's conservation and education programs.Special events: Some of the zoo's most popular events like Zoolala are fundraisers hosted by OZF. OZF also manages the zoo's membership program, which encompasses approximately 45,000 households in Oregon, Washington and beyond.
