Open Studio Project is a non-profit arts organization located in Evanston that uses the creative process with people of all ages and backgrounds to empower them to use art for personal growth and social emotional development. They have training and expertise in Art Therapy that informs their work with emphasis placed on developing stronger social emotional vocabulary as well as awareness of self and others. They have created a series of workshops using social emotional standards and offer programming for adults, children, and families. They work in the following art mediums: drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, found objects, clay, and many mixed medias.
