UQ Sport is a not-for-profit organisation with a vibrant, fun and passionate attitude. We're dedicated to health and fitness, promoting sport, physical recreation and the benefits of a healthy lifestyle within the University of Queensland and broader communities. We deliver over 380 diverse programs to students, staff and alumni of the University, and the general public. We employ over 70 energetic permanent staff, and over 200 enthusiastic casuals throughout our St Lucia and Gatton campuses. UQ Sport manages some of the largest sporting facilities in Queensland. Make a splash at one of Brisbane's best swimming facilities in our Aquatic Centre 50m pool, or train like an athlete on our Olympic-standard Athletics Centre track. Choose from 90+ group fitness classes at our Fitness Centre, or cause a racquet at one of 21 Tennis Centre courts. Our mission is to create a community built on active minds and healthy bodies. We encourage our members to play their way with 75+ sports and activities to pick from, 10+ social sport options and over 35 different sporting clubs. The UQ Sport Academy is Queensland's leading provider of strength and conditioning services, fitness testing, coaching workshops and athlete education programs.
