The modern world has never been more connected and more informed.Yet when it comes to pancreatic cancer, most of us know little about the nation's third leading cause of cancer-related death in the USA.Three Charlotteans, each from families touched by pancreatic cancer, are determined to change the local story of awareness. Introducing the Charlotte Pancreatic Cancer Alliance (Charlotte PC Alliance) and our founders - Grace Lynch, Patti Weber, and Mark Weber.Charlotte PC Alliance is a community group that exists to amplify the voices of our region's pancreatic cancer community. We are storytellers on a mission to use each of the 365 new days of the year (and 366 days during leap years like 2020!) to create local awareness. We are community-builders, and we are seeking partners and ambassadors to join us in sharing the story of pancreatic cancer to reach every corner of the greater Charlotte region.In our mission to create local awareness and build community, we provide support to pancreatic cancer organizations, healthcare providers, patients, caregivers, researchers, family members and friends.
