Scan to BIMOur expertise is surveying and modelling existing buildings in a BIM platform (Revit). We provide geometrically correct ‘BIM ready' Revit models derived from accurate survey data. Our BIM-ready models are used as the foundation for Digital Twins and any BIM project involving existing buildings and structures. Our team have been using laser scanners since 2002 and working with point clouds in Revit since 2006. Our professional and efficient approach will help ensure your project runs smoothly. Our 3D Scanners efficiently collect up to 2 million data points per second, creating a very dense point cloud. The point cloud is manipulated and enhanced to produce 3D models or 2D Drawings. Platinum 3D Consultants undertake all aspects relating to measured building surveys, including floor plans, elevations and sections, and area referencing (working to RICS and IPMS standards).
