The National Association of Investment Companies was founded in 1971. Comprised of more than 130 member firms representing over $250 billion in assets under management, it is the largest network of diverse-owned private equity firms and hedge funds in the United States. For the past five decades, the NAIC has served as a trade association representing the interests of its member firms by assisting in the syndication of deals, publishing compelling research, and introducing institutional investors to opportunities to invest with managers that possess significant talent and the capacity to produce extraordinary returns.
