In 2014, Tynwald agreed to enshrine Manx Radio in primary legislation as the national public service broadcaster of the Isle of Man ensuring that there really was a more secure future for the station. We broadcast from our own studios at Broadcasting House on Douglas Head.Manx Radio's shareholder is the Isle of Man Treasury and the station ensures its independence from Government through its Licence and Station Format which is issued by the Isle of Man's Communications Commission who also regulate the station.
