Our mission is to connect passionate audiences with Film Festivals, and the premiere films they champion, through the curated Virtual Film Festival experience. We amplify artistic voices, connect communities, and entertain, challenge, and enlighten.Founded in 2011 by Producer, Festival Juror, Distributor, and film-lover Benjamin Oberman, Film Festival Flix is the only platform dedicated to Film Festivals. We provide filmmakers and Festivals with opportunities to reach a global audience, engage with distributors, and connect with industry pros— from anywhere. Festival committees screen over 10,000 movies and series each year, selecting less than 3% for audience viewing. Our founder spent years attending Film Festivals as a Producer, Juror, Distributor, and film lover. He saw countless movies, many of them truly great, but I knew those films would probably never be seen by anyone who was not at those Festivals. Even within the run of the Festival, most attendees are only able to watch three to five films in the space of time that they have free to be there.Enter Film Festival Flix: Festival-quality cinema in the viewer's home, on the viewer's time. We host Virtual Film Festivals, and partner with Festivals and expert curators to provide on-demand streaming access to select, award-winning, and critically-acclaimed films. With more on-the-ground strategic planning experience than anyone else in the Virtual Festival industry, Film Festival Flix is built for this time and beyond. As Festivals are forced to cancel or postpone events due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Film Festival Flix is the solution. You focus on your programming and patrons, we'll handle the technology, help you train your customer service staff, and empower you with all the necessary controls to satisfy filmmaker and distributor requirements.
