Six String Concerts, Inc. was founded in 1988 by a group of friends who loved acoustic music and wanted to see the best performing songwriters in Central Ohio. Frustrated by the lack of national acoustic acts playing in the area at the time, we decided to produce concerts ourselves.Now in our 24th year, Six String Concerts continues to present top national and regional acoustic musicians in a series of 8-10 concerts held between September and May. The concerts are held in intimate, smoke and alcohol-free environments that allow the performers and audiences an unhindered musical experience.
