La società, basata sulla produzione di raccordi forgiati e pezzi speciali per impiantistica in materiali ferrosi e non ferrosi, è stata fondata nell'anno 1962 ed è stata costituita nell'attuale struttura nell'anno 1983. Nel 1988 la Direzione ha stabilito l'implementazione di un Sistema di Gestione per la Qualità, con lo scopo principale dell'ottenimento della Certificazione ISO 9001 e con l'intenzione di mantenerlo conforme alle successive edizioni della Norma. Nel 1990 il Sistema di Gestione per la Qualità dell'azienda è stato certificato conforme ai requisiti della ISO 9001 da parte dell'ente Det Norske Veritas. Nel 2009 M.E.G.A. S.p.A. è stata accreditata da ASME come Organizzazione Materiale in accordo al ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section III, Subsection NCA 3800.The company, producer of forged fittings and special components for engineering systems in ferrous and non-ferrous materials, was founded in 1962 and assumed its present structure in 1983.
