Originally known as Perth Education City (PEC), StudyPerth was founded in 1987 when key institutions identified a need to collaborate more cohesively on international education issues. Today, StudyPerth is committed to partnering with and unifying its member institutions to position Perth as a first-choice study destination. Current members include Western Australia's six world-class universities, numerous vocational education providers, plus primary and secondary schools, as well as English language colleges from public and private sectors. StudyPerth is also strongly supported by the Government of Western Australia's Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation.
