Western Tool Distributors Pty Ltd (WTD) and Changshu Tongrun Auto Accessory Co., Ltd (Torin) from China have joined forces and opened a divisional office and warehouse facilities in Australia, the new operation has been set up so Torin has full representation within the Australasian market and will be in a strong position to develop the Torin range of garage and workshop equipment in Australasia by having local staff and facilities in Australia.The new entity Torin Australasia will handle all sales, market development, and after sales service throughout Australasia, commencing from April 2017. Product will be warehoused in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane with more locations to follow.Torin is one of the largest manufacturers of automotive hydraulic jacks and stands in the world. We have leading market shares in the USA, Europe and the UK, and sell to over 180 countries.Western Tool Distributors has been working with Torin for 16 years with its own WTD brand of garage equipment supplying business in Australia over that period of time. Early in 2016 the opportunity came about to become the Torin office in Australia and to amalgamate the WTD Brand into a new Torin range "Blackjack" Daily sales within the Australian market. Torin Australasia will handle the key factory brands, including Torin, Torin Commercial Equipment (TCE), and Black Jack, as well as Original Equipment Manufacter (OEM).The Torin Australasia operation is based in Australia and have a network of service locations across Australia.
