The Primary School and the Kindergarten defend from the beginning of their activities a series of values according to the cultural profile of the German-speaking Cultural Association. They seek to encourage personal initiative, self-confidence, security to act, feel and think, along with respect for the other. Undoubtedly, these objectives require intense participation by families, something that is observed not only because the Pedagogical Agreement indicates it, but also because of the affective bond that families have been building over the years, either because they have sent their families children to the School or because of the social belonging of many of the parents. In the same way, the Secondary School proposed from its beginnings, to contribute to the construction of the identity of the students in their entrance to the adolescence and to reach them the knowledge, habits and methodologies that allow them to continue their formation, favoring progressively the deepening of subjects and procedures that will be applied in higher studies. From the beginning, the German language constitutes the distinctive and identity element of teaching at the Gutenberg Institute. During Secondary, students take the international Sprachdiplom exam in their levels I and II; the Sprachdiplom II enables admission to German universities without language equivalences. The Cambridge ESOL international exams for the English language have also been incorporated. The Institution also offers the possibility of participating in the last year of Secondary, Student Exchange with the Federal Republic of Germany, an experience highly valued by students and which is a significant contribution of the Association to the consolidation and dissemination of culture GermanThese projects, among others, crown half a century of fruitful work at the service of education and allow us to have promising perspectives for the future.
