Opening in 1929 and in its present location since 1934, the New York Deli is Richmond's oldest restaurant. We specialize in gourmet sandwiches, served in a neighborhood bar setting. We have a diverse lineup of classic deli sandwiches and rotating roster of bottled beer & drafts. We are the birthplace of the Sailor Sandwich and feature perhaps the best Reuben on the planet. Though the Deli has expanded and been remodeled over the years, we remain a true Richmond gathering spot. With an emphasis on affordability and quality, we draw a mix of guests, old and new.We are open from 9am until 2am, seven days a week.
