Penina is a Non-Government Organisation (NGO) that provides Mental Health, Addiction, and Housing services in the community of South Auckland.We formally began operations in June 2001 with only one service (Family Support). Since our humble beginnings, Penina has developed to provide a much wider range of services.Penina is committed to the principle of recovery. We exist to support people on their journey through illness and towards recovery. Penina is about utilising capital to enable people to take control of their own lives with a view of achieving their full potential.
