At Backwell, we believe in promoting respect and tolerance to create an inclusive community of which young people are proud to feel a part of, even many years after they leave school. Backwell is a popular school. Currently, there are 1,300 students in Years 7 to 11 and 390 in the Sixth Form. As well as enabling our young people to achieve academic success, we place great importance on helping them to develop a strong sense of right and wrong and actively uphold the values of tolerance and mutual respect.
