We tell the story of built form with film. Combining three decades of architectural experience with a professional film and sound design studio, ArcCine offers an innovative approach to architectural visualization. We collaborate with architects, designers, and builders to communicate the design intent, design concept, and final built form. Our studio provides consultation and film production services that document, inform, and celebrate the architectural process from concept to completion.We believe moving image is the most emotionally powerful communication tools for architects and designers. Movement through time and space is how we physically experience and relate to the world. We don't just see space, we feel it and interact with it. There are fundamental spatial relationships that can only be revealed to the viewer in motion. Film allows a truer comprehension of built form, while better documenting the process and context in which architectural design takes place.As humans we perceive optical patterns in the visual field and sonic patterns in the auditory realm with the old brain, the parts of the brain that are millions of years old, and are the centers of emotion, memory, and decision making. Pattern recognition, memory, and the emotive force to drive response, are essential for the survival of any organism. Our emotional responses to patterns are unspoken, and may go unnoticed, but are key to our reactions to architecture.
