The Center for English Academic Writing at Ivan Franko National University of L'viv is as a free-access resource and support unit for students, faculty, and interested professionals on local, regional, and national levels. We can provide various kinds of assistance (in the form of workshops, trainings, summer schools, on-line courses, publications, and tutorials) to Ukrainian university students and faculty, high school students and teachers, as well as other professionals on any of the issues related to various types of English writing. \\The teachers of Ukrainian universities interested in introducing and teaching writing courses can receive appropriate training during interactive workshops, long-distance courses and summer schools; they can be offered syllabi of writing courses for their institutions, various printed materials and more specific help and advice either in person or via the Internet. In all these activities, the emphasis is on the training of effective approaches to writing suitable for the Ukrainian educational and cultural context. We are also ready to assist English high school teachers (9-11 grades) in introducing the elements of English academic and technical writing through our facilities. \\Besides, we can provide help to professionals, such as lawyers and businessmen, in developing their writing skills through individual consultations, interactive workshops, Internet facilities, and by giving access to appropriate learning materials. Finally, special consulting services can be arranged for researchers who need academic writing skills for producing scholarly publications in English.
