He graduated cum laude with a degree in chemistry. Dr. Swang attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis and graduated in 1974. Following graduation Dr. Swang had an externship with the State of Tennessee Department of Public Health and served as a dentist for Montgomery County Public Health. He set up a general dentistry practice in the Green Hills area of Nashville where he has been practicing in the same building since July of 1975.
