Asotrot is the holding of municipal companies owned by the City of Tortosa (Aigües de Tortosa, Tortosasport, Tortosa Media, Tortosa Innova,GUMTSA, ...) , which serves a multicultural community of 40.000 people. Year 2010 consolidated budget for both the city and the holding was EUR 78 million. Tortosa is located in the south of Catalonia. It holds a strategic and privileged location since it is in a central position, approximately 200 km, from large cities such as Barcelona, Valencia and Saragossa.
