In 1996, thirty-seven physicians had the foresight to understand that in an ever-changing healthcare environment, a large, independent physician group would be better positioned to provide high quality, cost-effective care to their patients. These physicians united to form Digestive Health Associates of Texas, P.A. (DHAT). Since inception, DHAT has grown to over 80 Board Certified physicians, including 6 Pediatric GI physicians. Now with greater than 40 locations across the Dallas - Fort Worth Metroplex, office infusion and anesthesia services, and the newly formed Research Institute (DRI), DHAT continues to be a leader in digestive health in the communities it serves. Our local, state and national leadership has been a bedrock of its claim to being an industry leader. DHAT’s strength is not only in the numbers, but in its longevity.
