We understand that communities live and their heritage survives when their economies thrive, and we believe that the preservation of that heritage can be a stimulus for place-based, long-term prosperity.Mambo Heritage is aligned with the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goal's (SDG's), using heritage strategies to better understand how to recognize the character of a place and use that character to achieve community - centred goals.We specialise in;Cultural Landscapes - Understanding how to read and manage cultural landscapes is key to the creative stewardship of special places. Mambo Heritage has prepared cultural landscape plans and assessments for regional landscapes, national parks, urban public space, and historic communities.Historic/Indigenous Communities - We help communities strengthen their character alongside and with the support of Community-Based Organisations (CBO's) to revitalize their economies, and enhance their quality of life. We are experienced in community planning and consensus-building.Heritage Areas - National and county areas, we help regions recognize their heritage, revitalize communities, promote stewardship and coordinate tourism through broad-based strategies and partnerships. Mambo Heritage is experienced in planning, interpreting and implementing heritage areas.Historic & Cultural Properties - We prepare master plans, preservation plans, management plans, and design and implementation projects for historic and new development properties.
