Earth Sciences Institute of Shinyanga (ESIS) is a private Technical Institution registered by the National Council for Technical Education of Tanzania (NACTE) with Reg. No REG/EOS/041P to offer exploration, petroleum, mining engineering, mineral processing, gemology and related geology long and short courses. ESIS's head office is located at Ndala in Shinyanga Municipality while classes and dormitories are currently located within the mining premises of Williamson Diamond Limited in Mwadui Application process for admission to any of ESIS mining courses is done online, downloadable application forms or by hard copies of the application forms. The minimum requirements for NTAL 4 in any of our long courses is form four (i.e. Ordinary Level of Secondary Education Certificate) with at least 4 passes at D level or NVTA3. Courses Offered are: 1. Exploration and Mining Geology 2. Petroleum Geology Application requirements Requirement to study Basic Certificate Course for one (1) year The applicant must at least have 4 subject passes at "D" grade in form four final examination (approved by NECTA) for Basic Certificate in Mining or related courses.
