The Private Harley Street Clinic was established in 2009 by Mr Mark Ali, with the philosophy that it would embrace the most innovative technology and rigorous clinical excellence to deliver safe, dependable treatment. Mr Ali qualified MBBS from University College Hospital School of Medicine in 1989 and was made a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1993. He was accepted onto the prestigious London Pan Thames Surgical Rotation Scheme in 1995 and upon completion, was accredited on the GMC specialist register as a cardiothoracic surgeon and was created a Specialist Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2002. In that same year, he was appointed as a consultant at La Pitie Salpetriere, in Paris. Hewas appointed as a consultant in the NHS in 2004 and has been a consultant in private practice since 2009. He continues to be an honorary consultant in Paris.
