IGLYO- The International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender & Queer (LGBTQ) Youth & Student Organisation- is a pan-European network of over 95 member organisations. IGLYO is primarily a capacity building and youth empowerment organisation, building the skills, knowledge and experience of our members and other LGBTQ activists. Working mainly with youth and students, IGLYO also aims to provide a range of leadership and participation opportunities. Our main activities include organising conferences, study sessions, training seminars and workshops. We also advocate for LGBTQ youth rights at European level, inform policy and produce a range of resources. Our current key thematic areas are Education, Intersectionality and Social Inclusion. Recent work has included research on homophobic and transphobic bullying, a training seminar on intersex people and a conference on inclusion of all within the LGBTQI community.
