Founded in 2020, Flexprin is a curatorial group whose practice and adventure is based on documentation and activities. We believe that the primary cause of most unsolved problems in the realm of contemporary art and design is the uneven distribution of power related to "Discussion, Curation, Education". We are dedicated to ‘flexibly' building curators and participants together by the following 3 methods: Participating in discussions that are slightly more academic than art; Curating exhibitions that are less serious than theory; Educating groups that are friendlier than the general public. We have a wechat public account "FlexPrin浮动原则" that operates as a platform for translation, art and social critical studies, documentation, exhibition press releases, critiques and publications.We hope to phonate socially through our "flexible" experiments and activate the perspective that has been omitted in the contemporary art practices, as a way to empower the art communities and scenes.
