Welcome to the Wikwemikong Board of Education. Our vision is "to promote lifelong learning and academic success guided by Anishinabe world views." As the oldest education system in Northern Ontario, and with a budget of approximately $13 million dollars a year, we realize this vision by providing programs for everyone in our community – daycare in the Hub, K – 12 in our three schools, including one of the only on-reserve high schools in Ontario, and adult education enabling our community to upgrade and engage in learning for life. All of our programs incorporate elements of Anishinabe world views, so our students develop a sense of place and purpose.
