Young Steps is about young people leading a movement to end extreme poverty. Extreme poverty has already been halved and together we can end it. We work to achieve this by raising awareness, working with local organisations to tackle poverty overseas and by influencing policy change here in Bangladesh.The mission statement of Young Steps as of 2015 is "Young people leading a movement to end extreme poverty." Young Steps aspires to achieve its mission in three ways:1. Raising awareness about extreme poverty in Bangladesh to educate and inspire;2. Fundraising to work with local organisations which directly tackle poverty around the districts and3. Influencing policy change at the highest levels of the Bangladesh Government.
