Halftime is a social sport prediction mobile App that enables our clients to create and organise their own league. It can be used as a way to reward employees and reinforce company culture around sports events. We are not fans of gambling. We believe that our platform can be an alternative to traditional betting platforms and offer a meaningful - and safe - way to engage and nurture their customers/employees and reward them for their loyalty. Recent technological developments mean it has never been easier to gamble. This industry is now worth £14.5 billion (2018 est.) and remote gambling makes up about 37 percent of the global gambling market. Gambling is also gaining traction in the corporate world and it is now very common to see employees and business organise office pools. Whilst office pools are not inherently harmful, they are associated with a variety of problems. Our ambition is to offer the adrenaline of sport prediction as a way to build company culture and customer engagement, without the gambling bit. Our clients use the platform to create their own league and engage their customers/employees around a sport event like the 2019 Rugby World Cup or the Euro 2020 by offering them various kinds of rewards for their voluntary participation. Very practically, registered participants are able to place predictions on a number of variables for each upcoming game, from the winning team to the final score, as well as the best player. Individual and team scores are updated after each games and prizes or rewards can be unlocked for the best players.
