Only a Shoe Fashion Week can truly focus on and honor the top designers and fashion houses in the space. It also sets up the proper scope for traditional and new media interviews, press coverage, industry B2B, and finally attaches the much needed celebrity element to round out the exhilaration that the major international fashion weeks offer today.We are launching Shoe Week during NYFW SS 2013, with signature events including a luxury Shoe Fashion Show, Handbag and Shoe Lounge, Style Media House, and designer Sneaker Concert. We are taking a substantive role in FNO and hosting kick-off and closing parties, dinners, and brunches to begin bringing the industry together and highlight key houses and designers. In addition to trends, we understand that brand heritage, cultural adoration, and creative enlightenment must be explored, highlighted and awarded in the luxury footwear space and accompanying accessories market.We are producing our Runway Shows and Exhibitions featuring luxury shoes at its core, from our careful designer curation, and accompanying narrative media. Rather than looking at shoes, handbags, and luxury accessories solely to compliment looks as a secondary aspect, our mantra boasts being 'Accessories Forward.' In this way, we've set up our shows to feature shoes as a primary, then pair accessorized looks in style sommelier manner.Shoe Week has been very well-received from the industry leaders, brands, and celebrities that we have reached out to. We have an excellent mix of footwear and accessories brands included in our shows and are in active discussions with many of the top global houses at Chairman/CEO, CMO, and PR/Fashion Director levels. There are a lot of opportunities for many stakeholders, especially with many leading global heritage fashion houses traditionally not showing during MBFW.
