RAHMA Islamic Relief is a registered charity in Pakistan. RIRP's working history starts from well before its formal registration and comprises of a range of relief and development oriented activities.The devastating earthquake that hit Pakistan in 2005 was the element that brought together the group of people that today govern RAHMA. Acting as a conduit for financial aid coming from Pakistani Diaspora and other International Donors, this informal association directed itsefforts towards immediate relief and rehabilitation and development through emergency assistance, Provision of health facilities, Improvement in reproductive health, WASH, Education, Child Protection and Poverty Reduction through Vocational and Technical Trainings.Our mission is to improve the life quality of vulnerable people through sustainable development and to ensure timely humanitarian assistance in need. We do this by;• Reaching out to people with limited or no access to basic services, complementing, but not substituting, the efforts of government and other providers. • Enabling rural people create services they need and giving them access to the opportunities by: Organizing them into viable social groups. Giving them a feeling of empowerment that reinforces poverty reduction process. Convincing them that they can plan and act to improve their lives.
