Tuggeranong Veterinary Hospital is a small animal, grass roots veterinary practice serving our community in various forms for over the last 30 years. It is one of the busiest Veterinary practices in Canberra as a result of providing a high standard of patient care in partnership with our clients.TVH has a dedicated, professional and friendly team of over 40 colleagues who comprise of Veterinarians, Nurses, Receptionists, Kennel Hands and Administrators. At TVH all team members have a love of animals and are deeply committed to making a difference to the health outcomes for every patient. Our team works together to serve our community to provide caring and compassionate veterinary care while at the same time work within our client's scope.Our team continues to undertake training and development in order to keep up to date with the many industry advances so that Tuggeranong Veterinary Hospital can lead the way in delivering best practices in veterinary healthcare. Tuggeranong Veterinary Hospital, your community Vet, is a purpose built and fully equipped practice, including facilities such as in house laboratory, imaging, dental, ophthalmic, anesthesia and monitoring , ultrasonography, separate cat and dog wards and a dual surgery theatre. Tuggeranong Veterinary Hospital has remained privately owned. Since 2006, Veterinarian Dr Ben Black and his partner, Business Manager Colleen Black and Veterinarian Dr Karen Van Roy became practice partners and have remained the principal owners since 2012.As part of our commitment, Tuggeranong Veterinary Hospital supports various community initiatives, such as discounted rates for pet rescue organisations, RSPCA cupcake day, Canberra Hospital Foundation, Delta Dog - Cancer Wellbeing Centre, Tuggeranong Vikings Lawn Bowls Club, and Pre-school visits to name a few. Tuggeranong Veterinary Hospital continues to promote the joy of pet ownership and foster a sense community within the practice.
