Texties is a t-shirt company founded by Michael Baratta, age 12, Ally Baratta, age 11, and Sally Carden, age 10. The young founders were inspired from the scene from the film Forrest Gump, when on his journey he accidentally invents "smiley" when wiping mud from his face with a yellow t-shirt. The feelings that the creators hope to convey are happy, positive messages mirroring the things they text to their friends.
