WHO WE ARE Mental Health Navigators is a 501(c)(3) non-profit online community of parents and other caring adults supporting other parents navigating their way through their child's mental health journey. We offer online support and act as a bridge connecting parents to mental health resources. We collaborate to promote awareness, acceptance, advocacy of youth mental health. WHAT WE DO- Host in-person and online conversations – anonymously if desired – for parents to share their concerns, questions, and need for support.- Provide a powerful search resource that makes it easy to find credible information on mental health topics along with local expert resources.-Offer a forum for parents to communicate with others who understand and who have gone through similar experiences.- Make it easier for parents to find the trusted and recommended mental health information and resources they need.- Promote self-care for parents. - Educate and provide community outreach and mental health advocacy. - Help parents navigate through mental health challenges.WHO WE ARE NOT We are not a therapy clinic, psychiatry office, pediatric practice, or mental health provider. We don't prescribe, or refer, although other parents in our community will share what has worked in their journey navigating the mental health system.
