The annual medical cost of stroke in Europe, Australia and the USA, is estimated at $100 billion. The technology includes a novel machine learning algorithm that transforms the intention to move into to the actual movement via robotic manipulators.In a proof of principle study, RehabSwift improved the hand motor function of a stroke survivor, who'd had a stroke 3.5 years prior to the study, by 36% only after ten 30-min therapy sessions.
