LGA owns 100% of the Linden Gold Project and is focused on its operational Second Fortune underground gold mine. The project is situated within the Shire of Menzies, Western Australia and is located approximately 220km northeast of Kalgoorlie and 109km south of Laverton.The Linden Gold Project lies at the southern end of the richly endowed Laverton Tectonic Zone, which hosts multiple world class deposits including Wallaby, Granny Smith, Red October and Sunrise Dam.The project area was originally mined between 1941 to 1988 from a small open pit and underground via shaft and handheld methods. Anova Metals Ltd acquired the project in 2017 and completed infrastructure upgrades and Stage 1 of underground mechanised mine development, including dewatering of historic workings and portal establishment.Following Stage 1 completion the mine was put into care and maintenance until LGA acquired the project in 2020.Since acquisition, LGA moved quickly to bring the project back in to production to capitalise on the strong gold price environment and partnered with St Barbara for development funding and processing solution at its Gwalia processing facility. LGA achieved its first gold pour at Gwalia in April 2021 (a 7-month timeframe between acquisition and production).Outside of LGA's Second Fortune gold operation, the Linden Gold Project ground is highly prospective with a multitude of walk-up drilling targets many of which include substantial historical underground workings and previous drilling (including intercepts up to +90g/t) never followed up. LGA is progressing plans to drill these targets out imminently with potential for near-term high grade open pits to supplement Second Fortune underground production.
