Programme is a Chicago-based graphic design studio founded in 2014 by Pouya Ahmadi and Matthew Terdich. While completing their graduate studies at the Basel School of Design, they discovered that their contrasting philosophies on design could yield a dynamic partnership. Their collective client experience includes large corporations, cultural institutions, fine and performing artists, architects, and small businesses, allowing each to bring his own unique perspective to the studio. At Programme, the design process is humanistic, reflective, and iterative, with the goal to create communication that is honest and artistic. Information is given order and structure to reveal relationships, illustrate patterns, and simplify the complex. Identity and brand are distilled to their essence and expressed in visual form. Experiences, in both digital and physical environments, are infused with clarity, consistency, and focus. Through the visual language of image, type, composition, and color, Programme strives for a synthesis of form and content that transcends function and ignites the imagination.
