Our School is about people, individuals working together to achieve high standards in a happy, secure and supportive community.St. Mary's Primary School has offered a Church of England based education since 1863. Today we provide for children from Nursery to Year 6 (3-11). The school is Voluntary Aided and works closely with the Governing Body to provide a high standard of teaching and learning.St Mary's CE Primary is based in the heart of Hornsey, over two sites within walking distance of each other.Nursery, Reception, Year One occupy a modern single storey building on Church Lane. Nursery is self contained but very much part of the school and has a stunning outdoor space all of its own. The Reception classes have their own outside area within the main infant playground allowing us to offer a range of learning and play spaces that we can tailor to the children's needs and interests. All classes on the Church Lane site have direct access to our state of the art playground. The school is surrounded by green space with St Mary's Church Tower just outside the grounds.KS2,Years Two, Years Three, Four, Five and Six, occupy a three story building in Rectory Gardens which dates back to 1961. It has two playgrounds, including a football pitch, and a nature area with a pond. The school is situated just opposite Priory Park. Both Church Lane and Rectory Garden sites are being significantly updated and refurbished so we are providing the very best learning spaces for our children.
