National Park Trust (NPT) is a nonprofit who has worked with the National Park Service for over 30 years to address needs related to the maintenance of the integrity of the national parks. In addition, to address the growing disconnect between children and the outdoors, in 2009 NPT launched a nationally recognized youth program to engage children with their local national parks. NPT's mission "Preserving parks today; creating park stewards for tomorrow" is based on the vision that everyone should have the opportunity to have an American park experience.
