Vice President at The Young Researchers Program - Ithaca, New York, United States
The Young Researchers Program is a new organization that designs a program for high schoolers to conduct research at Cornell University and make an impact on the Ithaca community. Our program provides students with an incredible opportunity to participate in research at a top research institution. Students are paired with a Cornell undergraduate or graduate mentor, attend science communications classes, and participate in dinner discussions with professors. During this program, high school students will learn fundamental research techniques, practice scientific writing, and become immersed in scientific culture. Upon completion of the program, students prepare and present a scientific poster at a symposium, where parents, professors, mentors, and the Ithaca community can attend to see the work of the students.
