Everyone thinks beans are green. But purple beans do exist in nature. As the world grows smaller, we have started to forget that Nature made things in all shapes and colours. Purple beans, red okra (bhindi), black carrots - these are just a few examples of diversity we're losing. This diversity is native. The purple bean and red okra deserve to flourish and grow in their own native environment without being edged out by standardized hybrids. Similarly, we believe that children too deserve to grow fully rooted in their native culture. The Purple Bean is a Children's Media start-up which focuses on Indian content. Each piece is mindfully created to help children feel connected to the immediate world they see around them. Because a world without purple beans would be a really boring world!
