Kyosei was founded in 1963 as a manufacturer of precision components, mainly electronics-related components, manufactured from various metal foil materials (of thickness 0.004–3.0 mm) using photoetching processes.Currently, Kyosei services a broad range of needs, including electronics, optical devices, automotive, office automation equipment, mobile phone, communication equipment, and more.Kyosei creates new value together with clients around the world as a company providing clean, environmentally considerate solutions and playing a leadership role for the next generation of precision metal processing technology.Kyosei is proactive in proposing "etching + ONE" solutions that combine superior processing and assembly technologies—the inherited DNA of Japanese craftsmanship —with the photoetching techniques we have painstakingly cultivated up to this point.Kyosei joined the United Precision Technologies Group in 2015. United Precision Technologies Group aims to be a world leader in photo etching technologies. The United Precision Technologies Group is made up of Kyosei Co., Ltd. and Koken Chemical Co., Ltd. which was acquired in April, 2017. Kyosei focuses on thin metal photo etching and Koken focuses on thick metal photo etching. The combination of these two companies will allow for a synergistic environment to promote the growth and development of photo etching.Kyosei Co., Ltd. has also established a subsidiary Kyosei USA Inc. located in Irvine, CA. The office is expected to open in the 4th quarter of 2017. Kyosei USA will support US business as the UPT Group expands worldwide.
