The Educational Development Group's mission is to prepare new immigrants for success in American society by providing them with the language skills and cultural awareness necessary to access educational and employment opportunities. EDG provides language training as well as guidance and support to non-English speaking immigrants in order to assist them in making a successful and productive transition to life in the Boston area. Our goal is for these new immigrants to find meaningful employment, to be productive in the workplace, self sufficient, and active in their communities. To fulfill its mission, EDG has made delivery of effective, relevant and innovative English instruction the cornerstone of its program.
