New Harvest Ministries International was founded in 1989 by Evangelist Herb Stewart and his wife Jean with one simple mission and purpose: to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the most remote regions of the world and to fulfill the words of the Great Commission. "'Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.' Amen." Matthew 28:19-20 This has been the foundation and the heart of this ministry.President Dale Scholten began traveling the world with New Harvest founder Herb Stewart almost 30 years ago. He and his wife Jeanne stepped in as president after Herb's retirement in January of 2015.Through Herb and Dale's evangelism efforts around the world, they have gained ministry partners in many countries. NHMI built and continues to support Faith In Action Ministries in India, which cares for orphans, runs a day school, digs wells, and builds churches. In Cuba, we support a pastor who trains, supervises, and supports other pastors and churches. We have a partner who leads New Harvest Ministries Zambia. He holds open-air meetings, bringing people into God's kingdom by the hundreds. New churches are planted through his efforts. New Harvest Ministries Tanzania ministers to a community of Rwandan refugees, as well as preaches the Gospel to surrounding countries. They have planted churches in Burundi, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Democratic Republic of Congo. New Harvest Bible Colleges train pastors in India and Tanzania.
