It has developed a broad slate of documentary and factual entertainment programs including single hours and series for television in the areas of history, wildlife, lifestyle and social justice.Prior to the establishment of Reed Films Gerard Reed and Vanna Morosini operated Remo Media which produced Nine Women of Northfield - Tales from Within and Straight Talk. These documentaries give a revealing insight into the conditions and lives of detainees in the South Australian correctional system.Vanna Morosini has worked in film and television in Italy, England and Australia. Vanna has a strong interest in narrative story telling styles and has completed a PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Adelaide. Gerard Reed completed a Master of Arts degree in Independent Film investigating documentary history and production from The University of the Arts, London and a Master of Entrepreneurship degree from the Entrepreneurship, Commercialization and Innovation Centre. Gerard has specialized in innovative media practices and has completed a PhD encompassing innovation and creativity in screen business at the University of Adelaide.In association with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Remo Media produced Missing Presumed Dead, a documentary that investigates two missing men of World War One filmed in Australia, England, Belgium, France and Germany. Missing Presumed Dead has screened on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation Channels, ABC 1, ABC 2, and on The History Channel for ANZAC and Remembrance Day commemorations in Australia and New Zealand.
