Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology Alumni Association (IISTAA) is the official alumni association of Asia's first Space University - Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology.IIST Alumni network boasts of a diverse group spread across the globe in industry and academia. IIST alumni are leading participants in the Indian space sector with the majority of them leading and contributing to ISRO/DOS Space program, but not limited to it. About IISTAA: Vision: To significantly contribute in enhancement and utilisation of capabilities of its members & Alma mater for advancement of national interests through synergy amongst its stakeholders.Organisation: The association is structured into chapters, primarily based on the geographical locations of the alumni. A national executive committee is the apex decision-making body, guiding the activities of the association, wherein each chapter has its own executive body and members. The association is supported by various teams to execute and maintain its functioning.Programs: IISTAA regularly conducts webinars, sessions, meetups, to keep its members and general public abreast with advancements in space technologies and other exciting areas. IIST community and IISTAA activities are covered under our biannual newsletter release – ‘The IISTian".
