IglooKids is an International Preschool based on best Finnish practices. What this means in practice is that we incorporate the best applicable elements of the Finnish early education curriculum in our daily work. We promote a play-based curriculum: When the play is both fun and educational, the children are happy and learn effortlessly. Teachers scaffold learning themes around the children's own interests, making learning faster. Multi-professional cooperation is promoted (e.g. between teachers, speech therapists, nurses, social workers) to ensure early intervention in case of developmental or behavioral issues.The curriculum and practices are always adapted to the local requirements by our team of education experts in Finland. Among other experts, we employ Finnish educational staff both in the nurseries and in the international support team. We believe in planned and goal-oriented integration of upbringing, teaching and care with a special focus on high quality pedagogy. Our learning environment holistically supports a child's growth, development and learning and promotes welfare. We work in close cooperation with the parents and the community to support discovery of students' individual strengths. We offer the entrepreneurs extensive support in terms of i.a. business planning, branding, marketing communication, facility setup, building the localized curriculum, learning materials and teacher training. In short, our entrepreneurs receive a full packaged solution with which they can launch a preschool in their area. We currently operate in Finland, India, Singapore and the UAE.
