We pride ourselves on the fact that our work is bringing these new research based treatment options to cancer patients in Ireland with 6727 patients on trial in 2015. With continued support and perseverance this figure is increasing all the time.While we are not-for-profit we enjoy the fact that it is a highly competitive and dynamic approach to what we do which has brought about our success. Last year Cancer Trials Ireland's contribution to the development of new treatments was recognised at 10 of the leading scientific meetings in the US and Europe. Today Cancer Trials Ireland's has 66 studies open for accrual and a further 88 in the follow up stage.
